Data integrity

How VoleInfo handles volleyball data

VoleInfo prioritizes structured information from official volleyball sources. The preferred hierarchy is official federation or competition feeds first, followed by official competition websites, continental confederations and official tournament documents.

Canonical records

Source records are normalized before appearing publicly so that countries, teams, age groups, competitions and matches remain distinct. For example, a country’s main national team is not mixed with its U21, U19 or U17 team.

Missing information

If an official source does not provide a statistic, VoleInfo may show it as unavailable. A missing value is not converted into zero and is not presented as an estimated fact.

Corrections and updates

Schedules, results and standings may change after initial publication. VoleInfo periodically synchronizes active competitions and can incorporate corrected official results when the underlying source changes.

Derived statistics

When VoleInfo introduces derived metrics, they will be calculated from canonical match data using documented, deterministic rules. Derived metrics will be distinguishable from values published directly by an organizer.

Independence

VoleInfo is an independent information product and is not an official website of FIVB, Volleyball World, a continental confederation or a national federation.
